First Aid Module Organized at GMN College of Nursing by INSCOL
Ambala Cantt, April 12, 2025– A two-day First Aid Module was successfully organized at GMN College of Nursing in collaboration with INSCOL. Held on April 11 and 12, the event saw active participation from B.Sc. Nursing students.
The objective of the module was to enhance students' teaching and presentation skills through the use of modern first aid tools. Interactive sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities enriched the learning experience, boosting students’ confidence in effective communication and teaching methodologies.

The program aimed at sensitizing students and the community about the significance of this flagship health insurance scheme launched by the Government of India to provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to economically weaker sections of society. NCC cadets actively participated by interacting with the audience, distributing pamphlets, and sharing informative messages on preventive healthcare, insurance benefits, and hospital empanelment under PM-JAY.

Nursing and GNM students actively participated in this program. The yoga experts introduced students to the techniques of Sahaj Yoga, focusing on relaxation, stress management, and inner peace. The session also highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining a balanced lifestyle and its role in nursing practice for better patient care and self-care.
The program was highly interactive, and students practiced various meditation techniques with enthusiasm. The faculty members also encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for holistic health benefits.
